Conveniently situated in peacefull countryside this charming stone house of the 18th century (reachable by 2,5 km of white road), with its own private swimming pool, stands invitingly in the unspoilt area of Benano Valley at only 10 km from the magnificent hill-toptown of Orvieto. The small village of Castel Giorgio where there are shops, bank, supermarket is five km drive.
The medieval towns of Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Spoleto, Arezzo can be easily reached by excellent road links, and also Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, and the beautiful Val d'Orcia are less than one hour and half away.
Bolsena lake is at twenty minutes drive and the Monte Argentario coast one of the most famous seaside place in italy is just one hour twenty far. Even Rome and Florence can be reached by train from Orvieto in one hour time. The house is well situated to reach in one day excursion more than one of the fascinating etruscan and medieval centres of the Maremman hills:
